Chicago (HINA)- Just in time for the holiday season, Elda De La Rosa Couture opened on Oak Street in Chicago surrounded by local media personalities, clients, friends and family.

Breathtaking gowns were at the center of the celebration that recognized her 20-year career as a couture wedding, evening, and debutant gown designer in Chicago and Lake Forest.

Elda is the first local Latina Designer to open on this high-end, iconic retail street. “ It is with such gratitude and excitement that I open my Atelier on Oak Street,’ said Elda De La Rosa, Creator of Elda De La Rosa Couture.

“It is because of my clients, family and friends who have believed in me throughout my 20-year career that I can reach my ultimate goal to work on such an iconic street in a beautiful and global city like Chicago.”

Attendees included Zoraida Sambolin, NBC 5, Sylvia Perez and Dawn Hasbrouch of FOX News and Diana Palomar of ABC 7.

Candace Jordan a longtime client and friend stated, “ I’ve known and loved Elda for longer than I can remember. From the very first garment she ever created for me up until today, I’ve been a fan and a friend. Her skills reach far beyond the world of design.
